How to use 'Birt Sample Viewer' from Python?

Hi professionals,,

I wonder if i can use the 'Birt Sample Viewer' used in Eclipse while testing the reports as stand-alone application.!

Lets say we have a report placed in Jetty server, and we can reach it from any browser (By requesting its URL).
The question is, can we use the 'Birt Sample Viewer' to open the the same report from inside a Python application?

My environment information's:
Birt-runtime-4.2.0
Birt-Desinger-3.7.2
Server: Jetty Server.
I am developing a desktop application using Python, Qt & MySql.
