Modifying Data Version Selector Gadget

All-

I'm looking to remove the default value of "Latest" from my data version selector gadget on BIRT 360. I'd also like to remove the words "Version 1", "Version 2" and just keep the 10/31/2012 as the title of my version. Please see the attached screenshot as a reference.

Is there perhaps a way to remove this when scheduling/running the data object?

That selector is not currently configurable in the way you have described. You could create your own, but it would involve quite a bit of work.
