BIRT first report takes a long time

Hi All,
I am integrating BIRT 3.7 in my web application which is deployed on weblogic server. The OS is Solaris/Unix.
Post deployment, the first report takes a lot of time to run causing the 'Thread stuck for more than 600 sec' error in the logs.
The first report takes anywhere from 15 min to upto an hour to run. subsequent runs are very fast.

Is there a way to speed this up? Kindly help.

The first run usually takes the longest, but that does seem to be a little bit extreme. Are you using the OSGi runtime or the POJO runtime?
