Hi all,
context : dd5.6 under unix solaris
well we've got the following schema :

Table 1 ----------------Lnktable-----------------------------Table2
idtable1 idtable1 idtable2
name idtable2 .......
.....

we will use dd in a workflow generatinf dynamically the config file

basically a multiple deployment
table1
table2
lnktable

i'm wondering how i'll generate the config part for lnktable as id's come from different tables ...should i deploy the lnktable as a sql query ..??
any idea is welcome ... Smiley Happy

What kind of Data are you trying to Deploy (DCR, EA or XML) ?
Also are all the tables related to one file (dcr, ea or xml)?
DD cannot be used to generate sQL queries however you could invoke a user defined SQL query. Please provide more details about your usecase.

content for table 1 ----> dcr type A
content for table 2 --------> dcr type B

LnkTable needs id from dcr type A\ id from dcr type B

Also when we'll publish one instance od dcr type A we'll probably publish many instances of dcr type B
if you need more elements just tell me

Since table1 and table2 are for different DCR-Types the best thing would be to invoke a stored procedure or a trigger which basically populates lnkTable when either of these tables are inserted/updated.
