change data item value if jdbc connection failed
jkr
Hello,
Do you have any ideas on how I could display a single warning (instead of the report contents) in the case that my data source (the jdbc connection) fails ?
I usually serve my reports through a php interface and showing the report with red letters is annoying
Thank you

Are you trying to display custom errors at the bottom of your report instead of the default red text that the web viewer outputs?

since I serve the report through a PHP application (i get the report in my script and then send them to the user), i would like my PHP application to "sense" that an error occured (in this case the jdbc connection) and treat the failure in its own way.
