Force X-Axis scale

Hello! this is my first time in Birt Exchange forums

Ok. I have an issue trying to force x-axis to be 0-23 hours.
My problem is perfectly described here:

But the solution is not suitable for my case. I cannot modify the database.
There is a comment that gives another solution, but i tried with every scale's options and i can't get what i need.

Welcome! In that devshare you linked to it looks like you won't need to modify your database. Date Ranger Data is a scripted data source. Main Data Set and Employees are coming from the sample db provided in BIRT. The data is then joined as Chart Data Set and is used in the chart builder to create the results with all data shown on the x-axis. If you have some sample data you can post on here (xml) I can make an example for you.

Thank you very much kclark! i didn't realize that i don't need to modify the database. Now i have my issue solved, made some changes following the sample given in that devshare.
