How to delete file using IDAPI?

I'm working on a small application that accesses BIRT iServer and performs basic operations like uploading report design, running reports, downloading report documents.

I generated AXIS client using WSDL located at "http://localhost:8000/wsdl/v11/axis/all".
There is DeleteFile request class, but the corresponding response is absent. The ActuateSoapBindingStub class contains a lot of operations, but no "deleteFile" operation.

The DeleteFile call is processed during an Administrate call.<br />

An example (using Java) where your ActuateSoapBindingStub is "proxy" would be:<br />

AdminOperation[] AdminOp = new AdminOperation[1];<br />
/*Administrate takes an AdminOperation array, and not a single AdminOperation*/<br />

df.setRecursive(Boolean.FALSE);<br />
df.setIgnoreMissing(Boolean.FALSE);<br />
AdminOp[0] = new AdminOperation();<br />

One thing to watch out for is that if you pass a null value for Name, Id, NameList, or IdList in certain versions of the iServer it can have a very negative impact. Please ensure that you implement logic to not pass an empty array of strings into those fields.<br />
