Is BIRT 2.3.2 able to prompt an input box after rendering a report?

Hi,
I'm using BIRT 2.3.2. I would like to know if such feature is achievable in BIRT? After running/rendering a report, it will prompt an input box when certain criteria is met? For e.g. user runs the number of overdue workorder for that month. After rendering, if the number of overdue workorder exceeds 50, it will prompt a input box for user to key in data (text string) which will be stored in the database table?

Appreciate any help to whether this feature can be achieved and if it's possible, how should it be done? Thanks in advance!

One way of doing this might be a drill to details report where you sent the user from report a to report b if work order exceeds 50. You can pass any information you would need from report a to report b and you would be able to use a parameter in the new report to key in the required data. Now from report b you would have all the information you need to store in the db.
