Date Range Filter (Data Selection)

Are there any news as to when this one will be available?<br />
We are on Actuate 11 SP4. I am using a data object (with a cube) and just would like to set up dashboard parameters for date >= ${start_date} and date <= ${end_date}. Right now it seems like there is only an equal match possible. (I don't really want to create a BIRT report therefor but just use a gadget). Thanks for your help in advance.
