Migration of reports from Oracle to MS Sql server

steps
1.designed report file using birt-rcp-report-designer-3_7_12.
2.In tomcat we deployed our application through which we are generating report
3.Db connection details maintained in Oracle-Profile file like

Now we are Migrating Oracle to Sql how should i maintan the Database details any suggestion?
and which birt run time jar will support to MS Sql server?

Hi,

For the driver class,

I've got a couple of options:

i-net Opta (but it's not free, pretty good deal for $1300/yr).
There's also jtds @ http://jtds.sourceforge.net/ (Open Source, very robust, but no support)

Just drop the driver jar in "org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc_x.x.x.vxxxxxxxx-xxxx"

The complexity of changing you db configuration will depend on how deeply you defined it in your designs.

However, you could extract the designs as xml, and replace en mass.
