Column aliasing issue with Direct Print Option

Hi All, 
 
I've developed a report and configured a Direct Print option, but the query fails to return resultset with an exception ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined. Query is based on woactivity & workorder, one of the column is common in both the tables. 
 
This issue is occurred only when it is configured as Direct Print, but when it is run from Run Reports it is returning result set with no issues. 
 
What I've observed is it is framing a query internally to identify the persongroup of the user running the report, but it is no aliasing the column with WORKORDER as "workorder.abccolumn" 
 
Could someone let me know, how to overcome this issue. Also please shed some light from where this extra bit of query gets build.

have you tried a replace()?
e.g. sqlText = sqlText.replace(/persongroup/"table.persongroup")
