How to send an array to dataset from scipt

Hello!

how can i pass an array to dataset to get a report(chart or table)?

// this is my script
var res=new Array();
for(i=1;i<=5;i++){
var cou=101;
var query ="select count(*) as 'NO_OF_EMP' from loan where empid=cou group by empid";
res=query;
cou=cou+1;
}

and
i want to pass this array(res) values to dataset,

can u pls suggest any solution for this??

Why do you want to use a script for this one? 
 
You can create a data set with this query: 
<pre class='_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0'>
SELECT empid,
count(*) as 'NO_OF_EMP'
FROM loan
WHERE empid IN (101, 102, 103, 104, 105)
GROUP BY empid
</pre>

say this is just an example but my application is something differnt.. 
 
so i want to know how to pass an array to dataset from script on runtime..

Did you take a look at scripted data sets?
They do exactly what you describe: building a data set as a javascript array.

Next, you can create nested tables on your report. The outer table would be bound to your scripted data set, the inner table would be bound to a usual data set based on the database query. The data set that is bound to the inner table can take a value of the outer table as a parameter value.
