CrossTab Dynamic Calculation

Hi Guys, I need a help with cross tab. Please find the attached excel sheet as the report format with data.
I am having trouble with just one column, Diff in excel sheet. This is calculated as Difference of Purchase Value in 2009 and 2008 or 2010 and 2009..so on.

Please also find the attached that I have managed to achieve.

Please help me figure out how to achieve column "Diff".

That example solved my problem partially. Thank you so much.

Just one question: for last year(ex:2013), purchase data is only for say 2 months(jan, feb). Now i want to calculate difference(Diff) for last year as
= purchase_val for 2 months 2013 - (purchase_val for 12 months 2012/12 * 2)

How do i go about achieving this?

You could probably do the calculation outside the crosstab, like, in a computed column, find the last date in the dataSet, then use another computed column to figure the value from the appropriate months of the previous year. Then, pass this value into your crosstab for the final year's calculation.
