FormAPI - item not appearing on saved DCR

Hi,

I have created a cgi-callout that returns a value to a readonly field in the DCT. The callout item and readonly item reside inside a container. The container visibility is set to false in the init() function. The container only displays when a user selects a particular option from a dropdown list.

This all works fine. My problem is that when I save and re-open the DCR the container item values do not display.

Can anyone please help? Any ideas would be really appreciated!
