OpenDeploy Receiver

Hi,

We have opendeploy receiver4.5 on webserver site. Now we have new ts server version 5.5.2 .Now we need push content from this server to same webserver so we need to install opendeploy receiver5.6 on webserver.

Does it impact old configs?
Does both will work for 4.5 and 5.5.2? or just we need upgrade??

Upgrading from OD 4.5 does impact the config files, since the structure and syntax changed in OD 5.x (it's now XML-based.)

There is a migration tool included with OD 5.6 to help get you started with the process. You might want to first check out other threads on this topic in these forums for some tips.

Is it possible to have both receivers on same server. I mean right now we have 4.5 . On same server we need to install 5.6 is that is ok ?? or Any issues and precautions

OD 4.5 can run on the same host as OD 5.6. Just make sure the two receivers are listening on different ports. Smiley Happy

Any idea abt migrating from TS4.5 to TS5.5
Actually I have one site which have to be migrtaed from TS4.5 to TS5.5 and later to TS6.5.......

I want know how to go about...how to start with....
