how to debug javascript in BIRT

Greetings,

I been developing BIRT reports for awhile but I can't seem to find the way to get the context senstive switch for java code while in the BIRT scripts. The birt function dropdown box (for lack of a better term) appears with code suggestions birt function but nothing appears for JAVA.

I believe this has to be a setting that I am missing or a reference to a jar file that needs to be added. I am using Eclipse Indigo with with BIRT 3.7.2. I know this is newbie question but so far all my debugging has be involved using log file while run the report with my scripts and there has to be a better way of doing this while in Eclipse.

Have you added all of the jars from the runtime to the classpath of you're java project? When I create a new Java project for birt the first thing I usually do is add the jars from the new project UI under the libraries tab > add external jars. Then I add all of the jars from birt/WEB-INF/lib
