unable to see all the columns in a report when exported to excel

hi i have a report which has approximately 300+ columns. When i am seeing it in preview i am able to see all the columns but when i export it to excel i am not able to view all the columns in this report. On the other hand when i get somewhat less columns in excel it works fine.

Which Excel emitter are you using?<br />
What output format are you using?<br />
The old Excel file format (XLS) doesn't support more than 255 columns.<br />

Alternative emitters that support the XLSX format should output all your columns.<br />
I recommend the SpudSoft one, because I wrote it.<br />
