BIRT report isolation mode

What is the default isolation mode of a report if none is specified in datasource properties. Also if I define an isolation mode at the report and also define one at the actual datasource in the application server(I use jndi for lookup), which isolation mode is used?

The default isolation level is -1. If you define the isolation level in the UI then I think that would be the isolation level that is used.
