selectable DCR's

Hi there,

(W2k, TS 5.2)
if i go to the 'File' Menue and select 'New Data Record', i get a browsing window with path/to/templatedata as root.
I get this even when i went down to a specifc type in the "main window" or even when i'm not allowed to access some of the listed categories.
Is there any way to limit the root directory and/or the shown data-types for specific users?

Sounds like you want to default the category and type based on the directory the user is in when they hit new data record. I think the only way to do this is to replace new data record with a custom menu item. There is some crappy code for this at
