How to use external CSS in BIRT & stored procedure
skumar16jan
Hi All,<br />
<br />
Please advise on below two points:<br />
<br />
First, I am developing a BIRT report with <span style='font-family: Times New Roman'>Font Style: Times New Roman</span> and Font Size : 10 <br />
but suppose later if I want to apply font-family : Verdana, Times New Roman; in all developed report so how can we write/use CSS<br />
<br />
I am writing below css coding:<br />
.table-detail <br />
{<br />
background : #000000;<br />
<span style='color: #FF0000'><span style='font-size: 14px;'><strong class='bbc'>font-family : Verdana;<br />
font : italic;</strong></span></span><br />
font-size : 16px;<br />
color : #FFFFFF;<br />
}<br />
<br />
And second doubt is how i can use stored procedure to my BIRT report?<br />
<br />
Regards,<br />
S kumar

If you go to the outline view in the report design, you'll see a section called styles. If you right click on this, you'll see options to import a style sheet or to use an external style sheet.
As for using a stored procedure, yes, you can. When creating your dataSet, on the first page of the new dataSet wizard, you'll see a drop down for "Data Set Type". There is an option for select query and for stored procedure query.
Hope this helps.
