document.getElementById and displayed table

Hi,

In this example, I put 3 buttons with script to make appears/disappears some tables in a report. This report is running good in the embedded viewer (rcp_report designer : webviewer or html viever) but when I put it on my website running the same version of webviewer, the 3 buttons aren't active.
The url to run the report is :
http://.........:8080/Projet_Metro/run?__report=report/mobile/show_hide_button_vk_260.rptdesign

Have I forget something ??

What's your Java version and what version of Tomcat or JBoss are you running? I was able to deploy this report in Tomcat 6 with Java 7, and what web browser are you viewing this in?

this is my version's informations : 
tomcat : 5.5.31 
java : 1.6.0_43-b01 
The report run fine with IE 8.0.6001 but not with firefox 14.0.1 
 
Do you think there is a way in scripting to make this report run fine with all plateform's ?

It works for me in Firefox 20, do you have to target 14.0.1 specifically or can you upgrade it?

It will be difficult to change the version of the browser (organisation pool)...
In fact, I test this configuration for a mobile html application and this report doesn't run on chrome and mobile firefox too :-(

Perhaps I will change the goal and choose to link the report's with hyperlinks and/or re-run the report with other param's

I had this issue with html buttons not recognizing the onClick script (saying it wasn't defined) in versions of Firefox after 7 or 8. I simply gave up and tell the users to use IE or Firefox 3.6 or print to HTML (but cancel the actual printing to paper). We don't use mobile browsers for our content (yet) so I have nothing to comment on that side.

You can open the Firefox error console Tools->Web Developer->Error Console or Ctrl+Shift+J. There should be errors reported when you run the report or click on the buttons.

Also, I did not get Vincent's sample report to work with Firefox 20 inside the BIRT viewer. The buttons WILL work if you use print->HTML but not within the BIRT viewer inside the browser.
