What is the report property Layout Preference set to?
Can you try setting it to Fixed Layout and see if that helps...

Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried it using fixed layout, but it did not work.

In an email, you stated that you were adjusting the size of the chart based on the number of bars. In PDF, you're limited to a fixed page size. Your page size is defined in the masterpage. If your chart expands over this size, it will get cut off. This example from the devShare shows how you can set a maximum size for your chart in your script to be sure you don't over-size your chart.

Hello Williams,
I have tried the script attached by you, but the problem is if we have huge number of bars, they are getting overlapped.
Can we change the masterpage size at runtime?
Is there any specific page size which would be suited for all exports such as pdf, word and powerpoint?
Thanks,
Sridhar

You should be able to change the size of the master page in the beforeFactory method of the report. The easiest way to do this would be to set the master page size to "custom" and modify the value to what you need in script. To check your data for how many groups you'll have, you could probably use the data engine api to grab your data and figure the number of groups to help you determine if you'll need to expand the master page.
