Linking Reports

Hello, I have multiple so called Parent Reports that are linked to the same so called Child Report. One of the Parent reports is for Managers to view the Management Dashboard. There is a link in the Management Dashboard that drills down to the Child Report. The other Parent Report is for Sales Reps to view their Dashboard. They also have a link to view the same Child Report as the Managers view. I want to have a link in the form of a Back button that allows users to go back to the Parent Report from which they came. Since the link can only go back to one report I have a problem. Is there a way to allow the user to go back the way a browser works?

You could create a text item and use some code like this for a back button<br />
<pre class='_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0'>
<html>
<head>
<script>
function goBack()
{
window.history.back()
}
</script>
</head>
<body>
<input type="button" value="Back" onclick="goBack()">
</body>
</html></pre>
