Tracking element position after report generation

Hello,
i want use a third party signature pad to add a graphical signature to a birt generated PDF file. However the pads software requires me to set the signatures position and it is not static in the report. Is there a way to track for instance a grid elements position and extract its position after the report was generated. So far i only succeed in extracting report parameter or data sources.

Do you always want the signature box located in the same spot of the report each time it's generated? If that's the case you could put it in the footer of the last page of the report so you know where it is each time and you wouldn't need to get the location of it.

We already used a basic footer and added a line break before, resulting the signature to be exactly at the same spot on the last page. This works well but I was looking for way to skip this line break. The report does use a few tables and quite often depending on the inserted rows, the second last page is nearly empty with more than enough space for actual signature.
