parameter field to be non-mandatory

i want the parameter mandatory option to go away.
when i dont select any value from the list it should give all the values present for that report.
is there any way to disable the mandatory option?

please help...

You can set the parameter to be optional in your parameter properties, and it will no longer be required (the red asterisk will go away).<br />

Depending on your dataset, you may need to modify your beforeOpen event to change your query if it detects an empty parameter.<br />
