Auto Legend entry for a Marker Line in a chart

Hi,

I am struggling to find a way to automatically add a legend entry for marker lines in my chart. Do we have an easy way out using the designer.

Currently my workaround is to add marker line creation using a second series definition with a constant Y Axis value. This automatically adds the legend entry for the center line.

The downside of this approach is that you end up doing a lot of cleaning up of extra legend entries if you need to use the Optional Y Axis Grouping feature.
