Pass parameter to sub reports

If there is possible to pass parameters to main report into sub reports without URL...

if the URL is the only way there is a possibility to encode and decode URL parameters..

Anybody help me please........

You could easily encode your parameters before passing them and then decode them before use in your sub report. Or you could use the POST method to call your subreport. Take a look at this bug report. It shows how you can set up a POST call.

Tell me how to encode and decode the parameters in URL.. in BIRT.

You could base64 encode or create your own encoding in the expression builder when you provide the param values to the drill down. Then, you could decode these parameters before using them in your sub report.
