Hyperlink as parameter

Hi,

i have a problem. :-)
I have two reports and i want to link from report 1 to report 2.

My first report looks like:

name | likes

michael | 10
sam | 7
bryan | 25

Now there is a hyperlink on every name.

How can i use the name, which was clicked as parameter?

The hyperlink (URL) looks like:

https://my.url/report2/name=michael or
https://my.url/report2/name=sam

How can i set the name which was clickes as parameter (also michael, sam or bryan)? Has someone an idea? I don't know :-(

Michael, sam and bryan are only a small piece. In reality there are lots of names (>100).

Thanks wwilliams, but it?s not really what i want...

in report2 there is a parameter name, with all names in a drop down.
Now i want the name where you clicked in report1 as input for the parameter name.

Is something like that possible or is there another way?

You should be able to use drill through links to do this without the need to set a URL. From the hyperlinks tab > edit you can select drill-through. From step 1 you can select the report you are linking to. Then you can add a parameter below. I think if both reports are in the same location in your application server you won't need to worry about the URL at all.
