compare values for scale

hello,

I'm trying to compare values ??to scale on a line graph,
but the result is always true, being that it is not.

xAxis = chart.getBaseAxes()[0];
yAxis = chart.getOrthogonalAxes( xAxis, true)[0];

var precaucion_value = icsc.getExternalContext().getScriptable().getPersistentGlobalVariable("precaucion");

var yscale1 = yAxis.getScale();


if (precaucion_value>yscale1.getMax()){<-- Always return true
yscale1.setMax(NumberDataElementImpl.create(B));
}

yAxis.setScale(yscale1);
