Report spanning across columns - Newspaper layout
josephnina
Hi,
I have a birt data set which has three columns (code, Total Count, Rejected Count). The no of rows are close to 200. Is there a way I can put them in a table such that I can split these rows into 4 columns , each column containing the 3 data to be represented. This is similar to a newspaper layout, or the columns option in Ms word under page layout.
EDIT: So instead of 200 rows, it would would 50 rows , each containing 4 columns having the 3 data in each of the column. btw.. The spaces in the table below got ignored.
Output should be as below.
|Code | Total | Rejected ||Code | Total | Rejected ||Code | Total | Rejected ||Code | Total | Rejected |
| | | || | | || | | || | | |
| | | || | | || | | || | |

Regards
Joseph

You could create many tables with 4 columns and then set the page break after to 50 limiting the table to 50 rows per page. Do you need all of the rows to display in the same page across many tables?
