Visual Format 'Crashes some versions of IE 5.5

Is this a known problem ?
The only difference between the versions of IE 5.5 that run VF and those that just crash is the patches for IE (security settings are identical).
Is there a known incompatibility between a certain IE patch and VF ?

Yeah, we had the same problem. If you have anything beyond IE 5.5 (including SPs, Qs), make sure you have the latest VF. It's due to a security patch Microsoft released last August. There's a KB article on it on the support site...

Check the files in your /Interwoven/VisualFormat dir on your local machines. There should be 6 files in this folder; 4 of them will have the same date. If you have anything earlier than 8/29/2002, you need to get the latest VF patch at ektron.com, and replace those 4 files.

(you will need to update the VF installer on your server, too. The IW support article explains how to do this.)
