Painting graphs in swt

Hello,

Forgive me in case of wrong choice of forum catagory.

I am trying to make birt paint a graph on a swt composite, making layout etc. works. The need is to paint math. functions.

Basic I have to questions for this thing:
1 How to make the x-axis and y-axis run from 0 to 10 fixed?
ChartWithAxes chart = ChartWithAxesImpl.create();
Axis xAxis = chart.getPrimaryBaseAxes()[0];
xAxis. // What to do here????

2 Is it possible to supply a series as a interface? Ie. If I wanted to display f(x) = x^2 +2 it could be cool to do something like .add(new ****(){ double compute(double x) { return x^2+2; } } ); Or do I always need to calculate and add a series myself?

As for the second question, this should just be a simple loop to create your data, but you could look at the dataDefinition for the series to create an expression using your field from your dataSet.
