Word wrap is not working with Excel Emitter when I have more than two tables in a same Report?

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>I am designing a report using flat file data source.</p><p>I have three data sets and using them am creating three tables. After adding the tables when I press <strong>View Report as XLS</strong> and I'd seen in one of the table word wrapping is not working.</p><p> </p><p>I tried with Word and PDF and it came perfectly.</p><p> </p><p>Could someone tell me what could be the issue.</p><p> </p><p>My Birt Eclipse Version is <strong>Eclipse BIRT Designer Version 3.7.1.v20110905 Build .7.1.v20110913-1734></strong>.</p><p> </p><p>Thanks,</p><p>Naveen</p>

<p><a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.birt-exchange.org/forum/index.php?/topic/19827-how-do-i-use-word-wrap-in-report-design/?s=173b4ad992e47395e2c8b9070c2d3cce'>Take a look at this thread</a> in it they suggest using a function (located at the bottom of the thread) to split the text to wrap in the cell.  If you only want this to occur for xls you'll need to use something like this</p><pre class="_prettyXprint">if (reportContext.getOutputFormat() == "XLS"){//do this}</pre>
