Using custom parameters in the report design
ajunuthula
<p>The url " <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='
http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/customparm1.jsp'>http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/customparm1.jsp</a>"
; opens up a parameter page with parameters UserName and Password, and Run Report button leads to a message Invalide username... though the username and password are correct and forwarding to template1.rptdesign.
The url "<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='
https://rumail.rockefeller.edu/owa/redir.aspx?C=-hVPBiqW0E-P3RT4kk27UHZJP_oCStAIX7mo1cD2osMNKrs1aMh91yoWpElpVEcrYKBlEi19Q78.&URL=http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/frameset?__id=report&__report=template1.rptdesign'>http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/frameset?__id=report&__report=template1.rptdesign</a>"
; is the report with similar parameters and its functioning correctly when run independently.(Correct username/password leads to a report and incorrect leads to a message).
So is there a different way that the parameters in the custom page are addressed differently in the report design?
Thank you so much.
