word wrap problem in pdf report

<p>Hi,</p><p>The word warp is not happening in pdf report, but for the word format its working fine. </p><p>The data doesnt contain any new line charancters , only with pdf i'm facing the problem</p><p> </p><p>Is there any way to overcome this without  altering the existing data (like adding new line characters) ??</p><p> </p><p>I'm attaching the word, pdf report along with xml and design file</p><p> </p><p>Thank u</p>

<p>You could try checking the output format using this</p><pre class="_prettyXprint">format = reportContext.getOutputFormat();if (format = "pdf"){}</pre><p>In the onCreate() of the element, then use something like splice() or substring() to create a new line ever n characters.  <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.birt-exchange.org/forum/index.php/topic/21849-setting-wrapping-in-primary-base-axis/'>This post</a> shows how to wrap ever n characters in a label, it should be similar for this.</p>
