could anyone tell me how to debug scripts in Birt?? is thr a way to create logs so such tracking of code becomes easier??

Are you wanting log files or wanting to see some sort of output while the script is running? When I need to debug a script by watching it while it runs I like to run eclipsec.exe and then use Packages.java.lang.System.out.println() so I can see the information in the console. <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.birt-exchange.org/forum/index.php?/topic/20633-debugging-birt-javascript/'>Take a look at this post</a> that explains how to use println() with eclipsec.exe
