need help troubleshooting BIRT Viewer

<p>Hello. I've deploying and running BIRT reports in the BIRT Viewer running under tomcat 7 on a linux box for several months now with no problems. Starting last week, however, the reports do not run anymore. When calling up the link to any of the reports (even the sample report that came with the viewer) it just displays a blank screen. Nothing gets logged to the tomcat logs nor the BIRT logs.</p><p> </p><p>Here are the versions I am running:</p><p>Viewer Version : 4.2.1</p><p>Engine Version: 4.2.1</p><p>JRE version: 1.6.0_41</p><p> </p><p>I've tried restarting tomcat several times and rebooted the server, but still, blank reports. Without anything getting written to the log files, I am at a loss as to how to troubleshoot this. Any suggestions will be greatly appreiciated.</p><p> </p>

<p>Nothing at all has changed with the environment? Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of the viewer?</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply Michael. It's very strange because nothing at all has changed on the system or the environment. It looks like the page to download the latest viewer has been down for the past day and so when it comes back up I will try your suggestion with downloading a fresh copy.</p><p>Thanks!</p><p>Roger</p>

Glad that was able to solve your issue. Let me know if it happens again. As for the Eclipse BIRT site, there were some bug fixes by Eclipse that "broke" our download pages. Once that was figured out, I was able to make the changes to the pages to get them working again!
