birt runtime in tomcat

Hi, I am installing birt runtime and tomcat on a new windows7 64 bit machine. Tomcat 7 is installed successfully and webviewer example from birt runtime is copied into the webapps folder of tomcat. <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://localhost:8080/manager/html'>http://localhost:8080/manager/html</a> shows webviewer example link but when clicked got an error as, HTTP status 404 - /WebViewer Example/ Any suggestions please. Thank you.

Are you getting this error after clicking "birt > view example" from the manager GUI? Or do you see WebViewerExample as a webapp in tomcat from the manager GUI? Also did you deploy the war from the file selection at the bottom or did you unzip it and place it in webapps yourself?
