Question about averaging values in a cross tab

<p>I have a cross tab like this:</p><p> </p><p><img src='http://i.imgur.com/93SbQjJ.png' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /></p><p> </p><p>I am calculating an average in the last column. However, for this average, I don't just want the average of the row. I want to take into consideration the column values as well. For example, in the first row, I want the average to be (1*11 + 1*15 + 1*24) / 3 = 16.67. How would I get the average like that? Thanks!</p>

<p>I haven't tried this yet, but off the top of my head you could try something like this in your onRender() of the summary field</p><pre class="_prettyXprint">var currentNumber= parseInt(reportContext.getPersistentGlobalVariable("currentNumber"));var currentValue = parseInt(this.getValue());var array   = reportContext.getPersistentGlobalVariable("array")if(currentValue > 0) {  array.add(currentValue*currentNumber);  reportContext.setPersistentGlobalVariable("array", array)}</pre><p>Then in the number group you would add that to a PGV.  Then add a grand total to the end of your crosstab, delete it, and drag in a data item.  Then you should be able to grab the size of the array for that row, then loop through it adding them then divide by size(), then clear() the array and set it as a PGV again returning the new average</p>
