JDBC Driver in BIRT Runtime 4.2.2

Hi,

I just use birt runtime 4.2.2 deploying in tomcat for viewing my reports. Previously I used birt runtime 2.3.5 and everything runs well. When I try to use birt 4.2.2, I didn't find the folder to put the jdbc drivers whereas I need jdbc driver for retrieve data from PostgreSQL database.

How to solve it?
Could you help me please?

For 4.2.2, the driver just needs to be in the classpath / build path. The WEB-INF lib should be okay.

Previously, I just put the jdbc drivers on this path "..tomcatwebappsbirtWEB-INF[color=#00ff00;]platformplugins[/color]org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc_2.6.0.v20100524drivers" in birt runtime 2.3.5 and I didn't find [color=#00ff00;]"platformplugins" [/color]in birt runtime 4.2.2.I stiil not understand what are you mean about "For 4.2.2, the driver just needs to be in the classpath / build path. I'm still newbie. 
 
Could tell me more about how to set the classpath and where is the driver should be placed please ?

Sorry. In 3.7.0, BIRT went to a POJO runtime which allows for jars to simply be in the project classpath. This includes the WebViewerExampleWEB-INFlib folder, which is why I suggested it as a place to drop the driver jar. In 3.7.2, the OSGi runtime was reintroduced as an optional download, so if you'd like to go back to the OSGi runtime you're used to from back in 2.6, you can go download that runtime at <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/birt/downloads/drops/R-R1-4_2_2-201302161152/birt-runtime-osgi-4_2_2.zip'>http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/birt/downloads/drops/R-R1-4_2_2-201302161152/birt-runtime-osgi-4_2_2.zip</a> Hope this is a better explanation.
