Data cube Causing: "There is no report design object available"

Hi all, While making a report i meet the error below that I don't konw how to resolve. Actually, the report goes well in Eclipse Report Designer. But when I put it on the production, I get the message error below. Before I've made a lot of reports which go well on the production. This time, I use a data cube in this report. When I put a cross table based on a data cube in the layout and put the report on the production, it will give me an error. If I delete the cross table from the layout, the report will pass on the production. Hi all,I have the same probleme, and even with the sample db it don't work either. I can visualize the report with eclipse but when i pu them in the birt viewer i got the same message. There is no report design object available.

Hello. This is how I fixed the situation. My production BIRT Tomcat server had some manipulations on the original web.xml configuration file at some point when trying to enable additional TAG libraries. In other words, the web.xml was not virgin. Eventualy a CUBE report was developed and despite working fine on eclipse, when publised on BIRT viewer over Tomcat the error below showed up ONLY when trying to run that CUBE report: [color=#ff0000;]There is no report design object available.[/color][color=#ff0000;]org.eclipse.birt.report.exception.ViewerException: There is no report design object available.[/color] I had a second installation of BIRT viewer on a separate webapps folder (technically a different application).Actually, this other application was my first install of the very same version of on the one in production, some forums went automatically to "You must install the newest version" but some times it is not the case. This other viewer was untoched brand new, and it run the CUBE report fine as expected. Instead of trying to fix, or retrofit, the current production deployment's web.xml, I had instead published the report (meaning, copying the specific .rptdesign file to webapps/virginBIRT/report/MaterialsCube.rptdesign) in the "clean" birt viewer webapp Now we are going full speed with complex cube data mining. BTW, I got a hunch of the solution while watching Conan on TBS. Regards, LE+
