Import triggers workflow?

Hi,

Does anybody know how to trigger a workflow upon File->Import ?

I'm looking for ways to unlock the file imported, rather than having the user import the file -then- unlock the file.

Why do they need to unlock the file manually? What's going to happen with the file after it is imported?

If it's going to get submitted - the submit operation will take care of the unlocking.

If it's part of a submit workflow and the documents need to be further edited within the workflow - then use an externaltask running IWHOME/local/bin/unlock.ipl near the beginning of your workflow and you won't have to worry about locks having been established outside the context of the workflow.

Alternatively - do a View > List Locks - and then Select All - then Edit > Unlock

The docs may be imported by somebody else, so at first I wanted the imported file to be unlocked by default. Doing it in the workflow is ok too.

I've modified my workflow accordingly to include the unlock op.
