Is there a way for BIRT to do translations from a database?

<p>I know how BIRT does localisation and translation through a .properties file. Is there any way for this to be done through a database? If so, how? Thanks!</p>

<p>I'm not sure if this will work for you or not but if your using a SQL DB then you could translate your data and then add a local field to specify what language your using then in your query you could do something like</p><pre class="_prettyXprint">select *from someTablewhere locale = "EN"</pre>
