BIRT tnsnames support

[/font] [font="'courier new', courier, monospace;"]I have one of the latest Oracle drivers so I believe it should work if I set the -Doracle.net.tns_admin JVM system parameters; but where can I set that for the report Viewer? [/font] [font="'courier new', courier, monospace;"]Once that is set I should be able to use [/font]<pre>jdbc:oracle:thin:@<TNS_NAMES_Entry></pre>[font="'courier new', courier, monospace;"]or am I overlooking something here? [/font]

I did not find where to set the variable but just set the tnsnames style configuratoin in the jdbc URL for the BIRT data source as follows<pre>jdbc:oracle:thin:@(Content from service I wanted from tnsnames file)</pre>It looks long and ugly but it worked for me and allowed the Oracle driver to handle DB failures.
