How to restrict multiple times of Query firing for Same Report

hi I am facing followoing issue, (currently i am using birt 3.7 version) Problem description

we integrated birt reports with our portal (In Tomcat server) ,After that all reporting are showing properly here problem is , In portal report rendering portion is very less ,so we gave an hyperlink like "OPen New window", if end user want to see Entrie Report than he will clik on "OpenNewWindow" Option ,for this Action also we are calling birt viewer once again (i.e In that resource we are call birt viewer once again), (i.e Same Report Query is firing twise, Instead of firing dataset Query twise , please tell me any other option is there for this Thanks in Advance...................................

Can you recreate your issue in a sample report that I can run and attach it? Thanks! Or are you meaning that when you run the report again, the query runs again and you don't want it to? Let me know.

I generated my report by click on submit button of jsp page , report rendered properly but that report height and width is very low because i am embedding that report in to jsp page , for enduser viewing Very closely purpose we gave one more link on that jsp i.e OpenNewWindowPage, once he clik on that report , we are showing same report in that newWindow... here problem is click on submit button i am calling <birt:viewer> tag to render report and whenever End user click one OpenNewWindowPage once again i am calling <birt:viewer> tag to render sampe report, instead of calling twise ,I alreay rendering report on clic submit button , same report i want to show On click on OpenNewWindow link finally my intention is instead of generating twise , i want to generate only one time , i will use generated report for this kind of scenarios if any possiblity is there , please let me know Advanced Thanks
