When export reports as ods format, the number columns display as Text type. If I change the column type as Number, there is a leading single quote to original value. My situation is similar to <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

On windows I don't see the same behavior, I only get the number as a string in LibreOficce in Ubuntu 13.04. Are you running this with windows or linux? Can you report this bug <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

Developers use birt designer on Windows 7, and server(web viewer) is running with Oracle Linux.

After trying to recreate this on windows I found out that the apostrophe in the number is OpenOffice's way of saying that they are numbers. On my end I don't see anything but the number being displayed and can create formulas with them. Are you seeing the apostrophe in the cell with the number or the number by itself?

Here is my snapshot of Calc. You can't see apostrophe in the number field. But the subtotal at the bottom of window, you'll see zero. And checking the cell format, you'll find it formatted as text. If I change it to number, the apostrophe preappend to the value.
