<p>I have a report header which is dynamic text. It should display the maximum value of a data set field (call it sequenceNumber). the dynamic text is bound to the data set.</p><p>Is there a simple function that will return the maximum value?</p><p>I can do it by adding a computed column or by putting the header in a table header and adding agregation. I know it can be done with JavaScript, but I feel sure there should be a simple function, something like row["sequenceNumber"].max() or max(row["sequenceNumber"]), that I can add to a one line expression to give me the highest sequence number in the data set.</p><p> </p><p>As you can tell, my level of expertise with Java is barely above freezing
