Parameters with flat file data source

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>I created a flat file datasource and reading the data from a csv file and displaying in table format in the report.</p><p> </p><p>The csv file has a column "Year". For the report, I need to give user an option to select year as a parameter and the display the data corresponding to that year only.</p><p> </p><p>I am not sure how to use the parameter with flat file, any suggestions will be very helpful.</p><p> </p><p>Thank you.</p>

<p>Are you just wanting to allow the user to select what data to display in the table?  If that's the case you could setup your parameter then filter it on your parameter.</p>
