<p>I would think the least complicated way to do this would be to open the drill down report in a new window. That way the main report can be left open and the drilldowns can opened and shut down as the user needs. The target window for drill downs is set in the hyperlink definition.</p><p> </p><p>If the requirement is to do all of this in the same window with back buttons and the like I am sure it can be done but its going to be a lot harder.</p>

<p>You could also use an html button in a text item. Then use some code like this.</p><pre class="_prettyXprint"><html><head><script>function goBack() { window.history.back() }</script></head><body><input type="button" value="Back" onclick="goBack()"></body></html></pre>

<p>Well that is not that hard at all. You've used scripting like this for a few answers you have provided. Where would we find a list of the objects, properties and methods you can use like this?</p>
