BIRT Report creates pdf, just Text, but no Chart inside

<p>Hello Folks,</p><p> </p><p>i am new with BIRT (V4.2.1), and using it with Pentaho (Kettle).</p><p> </p><p>My Problem is like this:</p><p> </p><p>I create Reports on a Ubuntu 12 Server daily automaticaly.</p><p>Using the Format ".ppt", then the Report will generate as expected, with all Text and Charts (Bar, Line, Area, whatever).</p><p>Using the Format ".pdf" then the Report will generated with no error/warning. But just the Text-Items, no Chart-Pictures.</p><p> </p><p>What can i do, to solve this Problem? <p>Are you using a kettle plugin to generate the report?</p><p>Which plugin do you use?</p><p> </p><p>I know some of them and most have problems rendering SVG images. The reason for this is that these plugins do not use the osgi version of the birt runtime. Not using the osgi runtime is causing Kettle to interfere with BIRT's libraries to generate SVG images.</p><p>Starting with BIRT 3.7.2 all charts are generated as SVG before they will be added to the PDF. I m assuming that they get generated as png in all the other outputs.</p>
